The Department of Defense (DoD) Military Spouse Career Advancement Accounts (MyCAA) program provides up to $4,000 of Financial Assistance for military spouses pursuing degree programs, licenses or credentials leading to employment in Portable Career Fields. Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) Funding
The TAA program was designed to help workers who lost their previous job due to foreign outsourcing. The TAA program includes job training benefits that may be used at New Horizons Phoenix. The GI Bill® provides a number of education benefits for service members and veterans. New Horizons Phoenix provides a variety of training programs that qualify for these benefits. The Workforce Investment Act (WIA) provides job training benefits for adults, dislocated workers and youth to help gain skills necessary to obtain and maintain employment. Incumbent Worker Training
The Employment and Training Administration (ETA) gave states the ability to arrange for training dollars for incumbent workers. To learn more about the programs in your area, visit your local One-Stop Career Center, talk to the local workforce investment board, or visit your state workforce agency.
